A Snowy Surprise Proposal at Lighthouse Park

When Alex first reached out to plan his proposal to Meghan, he already knew exactly where he wanted it to happen - Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. This special spot has been a favourite throughout their relationship, making it the perfect place to pop the question.

On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, we met at the park to scout the perfect location and set up a game plan. Everything was lining up beautifully - but Vancouver had other plans.

By Sunday (the day of the proposal), the city had its first proper snowfall of the year. With roads covered in fresh powder, we weren’t sure if everything would go as planned. Would we even be able to get to West Vancouver? And more importantly - could Alex convince Meghan to go on a snowy adventure?

Luckily, it all came together flawlessly. With the help of my trusty chauffeur (my boyfriend and his good winter tires), I made it to the park just in time. And as if it were meant to be, Meghan agreed without hesitation to a wintery walk to one of their favorite places.

With fewer people around due to the snow, Lighthouse Park felt even more intimate and magical. The sun even made an appearance right after Meghan said yes. Perhaps the most perfect snow day Vancouver's ever seen.
